I have significant experience in the charitable, primary care and educational sectors and have worked with adults of all ages. Prior to my career in counsellor, I worked in music as an orchestral arranger, record producer, musical director and composer for film and TV. I'm originally from the US and live in Cardiff with my wife and our tireless young daughter.
I am the co-producer and composer of a podcast called 'Between Us: A Psychotherapy Podcast', which explores issues around therapy, self-discovery and society.
In addition to my research efforts, I have delivered a number of CPD workshops on issues ranging from sexuality in therapy, existential philosophy and the effects of social media and online culture on the counselling experience.
I am also a lecturer in research methods and psychotherapy at the University of South Wales.
