Agreeing to work together means that we have contracted to meet together at an arranged time, usually for 50 minutes and in a safe, relaxed setting. I am always happy to have a one off session, in order for you to see whether you feel I am the 'right' therapist for you.
An entirely 'open' contract means that you are in control of how long you wish to stay in therapy and can stop the counselling process at any time that you feel is best - without any prior notice. My counselling practice is collaborative. I invite you to discuss with me your goals for the therapy. Or to put it another way - How you would like to be when the therapy successfully ends? Perhaps you are not quite sure what that may look like yet and would like to talk it through with me .
Everything discussed is kept strictly confidential. There may be an exception to this if I was to believe that you or someone else was at risk of serious harm or you are breaking the law.
My fees are £40 per session for individuals and £50 for couples. This may be negotiable according to your financial circumstances
