I hold a Masters Degree and a Distinction in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy from the University of South Wales, a Master of Sciences and Distinction in Social Science Research Methods from Cardiff University, as well as BA in Communication Science from the University of Tennessee (USA). In addition to my private practice, I am also a Doctoral studnet in the School of Social Sciences at Cardiff University and have undertaken considerable training in couples counselling with renowned relationship therapist Juliet Grayson.
I have significant experience in the charitable, primary care and educational sectors and have worked with adults of all ages. Prior to my career in counsellor, I worked in music as an orchestral arranger, record producer, musical director and composer for film and TV. I'm originally from the US and live in Cardiff with my wife and our tireless young daughter.
I am the co-producer and composer of a podcast called 'Between Us: A Psychotherapy Podcast', which explores issues around therapy, self-discovery and society.
